Loučná pod Klínovcem
First written reference to a village Loučná / in German Wiesenthal (Meadow Valley) dates back to year 1431. Village Loučná pod Klínovcem was most probably founded in 14th century, there are however no memoirs about that early time. The first preserved reference to Loučná is a deed which divides Perštejn manor between Aleš and Vilém from Šumburk. According to the deed Aleš obtained castle Perštejn together with 14 villages one of them was a “half of Wiesenthal”. The following years were not too happy – Hussite wars left profound traces, in the record made in 1449 the village was described as desolated. Due to ore mining boom at the beginning of 16th century the village started to develop. Loučná was inhabited again and its importance was rising.
